Nathan H Roy

Nate is originally from Keene, NH and attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT for his undergraduate studies. He went on to earn his PhD in the lab of Markus Thali at the University of Vermont investigating the mechanisms of HIV-1 induced membrane fusion. For his postdoctoral work, Nate joined the lab of Janis Burkhardt at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he studied immune cell migration and integrin signaling. Nate joined the SUNY Upstate faculty in 2021.
